Hasnaeen Rizvi Rahman founded Astha IT in 2008, when he was in his mid-twenties. Over the decade, it grew up to be a global service provider, with clients in USA, Australia and Europe, winning multiple awards from BASIS and the government. A passionate problem solver by heart, Hasnaeen self-taught programming at his ninth grade, and sold his first commercial software during his high school years. As an outstanding academic, he passed a summa cum laude from North South University with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. With his visionary leadership, Astha IT has become a tech giant in the country. Beside Astha IT, Hasnaeen co-owns and is part of several other business ventures in United States. Md Ekhlasur Rahman

Founding Director

Md Ekhlasur Rahman is a veteran in the NGO sector, working and serving Bangladesh for 40 years before retiring in 2013. He has a prolific career records of working in renowned NGOs, such as Family Planning Services & Training Center (FPSTC) and Population Services & Training Center (PSTC), collaborating with donor agencies such as UN, UNICEF and USAID.

Ferdousi Rahman

Founding Director

Ferdousi Rahman is another veteran in the NGO sector, with a career span of 35 years, before retiring in 2010. She has been the Executive Director of a renowned NGO, Anirban Sangsad, for 30 years which worked with the Bangladesh government’s Non-Formal Education (NFE) unit running schools and training institutes across Bangladesh. She has also collaborated with international donor agencies such as USAID.

SM Adnan

Independent Director

SM Adnan completed his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from North South University (2006). He holds an MBA degree in Finance from IBA, University of Dhaka. He commenced his professional career in 2006 and worked on his own proprietary project for a couple of years. After that, he seeked his lead software engineering career in ReliSource Technologies Limited (Dhaka), Disney Interactives (Dhaka), Apple (Cupertino, CA) and currently Google Inc (Mountain View, CA).

Shafayetul Islam

Independent Director

Shafayetul Islam completed his Bachelor degree in Computer Science from North South University in 2006. He commenced his professional career in the same year joining as a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in UNIQA Software & Systems Ltd. Later, he continued his software QA engineering career in various lead roles at other renown companies such as Spectrum Engineering Consortium Limited, Bording Vista Bangladesh, Disney Interactives Dhaka and Disney Interactives (Palo Alto, CA), Apple Inc. (Cupertino, CA) and Tango Me (Mountain View, CA). Mr Islam is currently employed as the QA Lead in CreditKarma Inc. (acquired by Intuit, Oakland, CA).

Shihab Ahmed

AVP, Engineering

Shihab Ahmed Bhuiyan is having an outstanding journey at Astha IT where he joined as a software engineer back in 2012. Prior to that, he worked as a web developer for 3 years at Fusebox Design Ltd, in Newcastle, UK. Since joining Astha IT, Shihab played many technical roles and his career grew at a phenomenal pace, eventually becoming the head of frontend technologies. He has a Masters degree in Computing from University of Teesside, UK. With 11 years of experience in the software industry, Shihab has worked on diverse projects, championing the UX and frontend tech sectors. Being a very picky guy, Shihab doesn’t compromise on quality and is constantly trying to improve the work of his own and others for the betterment of the overall end user experience. When he is not working, he loves to spend time with his family.

Tasnuva Ahmed

Independent Director

Tasnuva Ahmed became a shareholder at Astha IT in 2020. She has been working in the marketing sector for the past 13 years and has a prolific career record in both Corporate and Media, such as ColoursFM, Celestial Tech, Banglalink, BATB, etc. She has an extensive experience in the broadcast media industry promoting Gender Equality, Women Empowerment and Stop Violence Against Women. Tasnuva has an MBA degree from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Thailand and an International Master degree in Marketing (double major) from Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (EADA) Barcelona, Spain. She is also the chairperson of her own venture, Thought Makers – a media consultancy company. Tasnuva is a fitness enthusiast and a cyclist who has also completed a few half Marathons. She believes with hard work and persistence, one can achieve anything they are capable to dream of.

Nazif Muhammad Irad

Chief Marketing Strategist

Nazif Muhammad Irad is a dreamer, communicator, strategist and a happy person who loves to sing and write. He is currently leading the marketing sides of Astha IT as its Chief Marketing Strategist. Irad has been an Independent Consultant at UNDP Bangladesh for Chittagong Hill Tract Watershed Co-management Activity (CHTWCA) project. He has also served as a National Consultant, Communications at UNDP Bangladesh. He also has experience working as a freelance social media marketer for BERGER, Shinest Group, City FM, Lussotica, Indiecative Lifestyle, Lil Crust Pizza, Amaris, Eminent International, Ensys Global, Lapel Bedizen, several local startups and small businesses. Irad holds a BBA in Marketing from North South University. He is a believer in spreading positive energy in every avenue of life.

Eradat Munshi

Head of Client Success

Eradat Munshi is an accomplished business and sales development leader with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Currently based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, he has joined as the Senior Client Relationship Manager at Astha IT, a tech company focused on building scalable platforms for large businesses. Eradat’s expertise lies in building and scaling technology, product and service platforms, as well as leading and mentoring high-performance engineering and sales teams. Throughout his career, he has worked with a variety of companies, from startups to Fortune 500 corporations, including Strategic Insight, Asset International, and Euromoney. Eradat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Banking from University of Greenwich in England. He is also a music lover who is an avid traveler exploring cultures and cuisines in different parts of the world. “There is no difference between a second place and the last place because people only remember the winner” is a motto Eradat has followed all his life and work. He is excited to be a part of this new budding team of enthusiastic high achievers and thrive with them.
